Worksome adds fresh investment from Danish angel investors, looks to expand its freelance platform to UK.

Worksome, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing a platform for finding and hiring highly skilled onsite freelance professionals, announced securing an undisclosed amount of capital investment.

The money comes from a range of Danish angel investors, including Tommy Ahlers and a group of a Google executives from Northern Europe.

Worksome, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Morten Petersen, developed a digital marketplace for finding freelancers within the IT vertical. The company is active in Denmark and with the new funding aims to expand its horizons in UK.

Prior to this deal, Worksome added DKK 3.5M in angel investment in 2017, from backers including Gorm Rasmussen and Anders Fauerskov.
