XVision secured €1M from investors led by bValue from Poland.

XVision, a Timisoara, Romania-based startup developing an automated x-ray analysis application that assists radiologists by providing accurate interpretations of medical images, announced completing a €1M ($1.1M) funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by bValue from Poland and joined by GapMinder, RocaX, Cleverage, Growceanu, ResQMed, as well as Cristian Pop and Marek Dziubinski as angel investors.

XVision, founded in 2018 by Andrei Tenescu, Bogdan Bercean, Cristian Avramescu, Marius Mihail Benta and CEO Stefan Iarca, developed a medical platform helping radiologists with solutions that use AI algorithms to analyze complex medical images. The solutions include a software program for chest X-rays, and one for improved analysis of chest CT (computed tomography) scans. The company says the platform has been implemented in over 60 private hospitals across four European countries.
