Yolda raised $1.9 million in a seed round led by Speedinvest

Yolda, an Istanbul, Turkey-based software developer of logistics handling solutions, announced that it raised a $1.9 million seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors ld by Austria-based VC Speedinvest, and joined by angel investors Marcus Mosen, Stefan Kalteis, and Runtastic co-founder Florian Gschwandtner.

Yolda, founded in 2020 by Volkan Özkan and C. Murad Özsert, developed a logistics platform which is part marketplace, part control panel, part reporting tool. In the marketplace, SMEs and enterprises can receive shipment quotes from local forwarders and logistics companies. Yolda’s control panel allows companies to track the shipments, and reports display the performance of logistics operations.

Yolda previously raised $830k in 2020.
