Bamomas secures €1.3 million from Valkea Growth Club et al

Battery Intelligence, a Tampere, Finland-based company manufacturing IOT monitoring services for industrial batteries sold as Bamomas, announced that it completed a financing round of €1.3 million ($1.5M).

The money was raised from investors led by Fortum’s Valkea Growth Club together with existing shareholders Grid.VC and JointJourney. Fortum-born startup eFleetly, was merged into Bamomas prior to the financing round.

Battery Intelligence Oy, founded in 2018 as a spin-off company from Tampere University and led by CEO Pavel Marek, develops a comprehensive battery fleet analytics solution called Bamomas. The solution helps battery fleet operators to optimize battery lifespan and implement predictive battery maintenance on a fleet level and down to a battery cell level. Bamomas’ core competences lie in in-depth AI/ML-based battery predictive analytics, battery connectivity, and remote battery monitoring. Bamomas’ solution focuses on industrial battery fleet operations including material handling, railway and utility.
