dgenious to raise €1 million from The Faktory Fund and finance & invest.brussels

dgenious, a Bruxelles, Belgium-based SAAS provider of data analytics, completed a €1 million ($1.1M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by investors from Belgium, including The Faktory Fund and finance & invest.brussels, and will be used for business expansion.

dgenious, founded in 2014 by Antoine Lebacq and led by CEO Gaëlle Helsmoortel, developed what they call a business intelligence (BI) solution based on big data, allowing customers to manage different points of sale with direct real-time access to the consolidated data. The company, which has an office in Switzerland, aims to work with chains of restaurants and hotels, as it provides an aggregated reporting solution from various data point from all the locations.
