MagicBell raised a $1.9 million seed round from Cherry Ventures and angel investors

MagicBell, a Barcelona, Spain-founded software startup developing a a plug-and-play notification platform for product teams, announced raising a $1.9 million seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the German VC Cherry Ventures (via its Swedish partner Sophia Bendz), joined by angel investors including Algolia co-founder Nicolas Dessaigne, Twitter Director of Product Management Marie Outtier, and Wunderlist and Pitch co-founder Christian Reber.

MagicBell, founded in 2020 by CEO Hana Mohan and Josue Montano, developed an aggregate notification system that aims to improve your customers' workflow with our in-app notification inbox, where all your product notifications live. Fully customizable to match your product's UI and ready to be deployed within the hour.

MagicBell was part of the European startups at Y Combinator in winter 2021 and was also previously backed by Magma Partners.
