Nordsense secured $5 million in a round backed by New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and ACME Capital.
Nordsense, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based provider of smart waste management solutions, announced raising a $5 million capital investment round.
The money was raised from the U.S. venture firms New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and ACME Capital.
Nordsense, founded in 2015 by CEO Søren Christensen and Manuel Maestrini, developed a smarter waste management system that provides a better working environment, less waste and pollution and contributes positively to the climate accounts by creating a more efficient waste sector. The IoT product is an end to end solution that optimizes waste collection processes by monitoring container levels, applying advanced data analytics and delivering a dynamic and event driven turn-by-turn navigation for waste vehicles.
Prior to this round, Nordsense secured $2.1M in 2017 and $8.5 million from The Danish Growth Fund (Vækstfonden) in 2020.
