Wunderflats raised a $21 million growth funding round backed by Verdane

Wunderflats, a Berlin, Germany-based online platform for renting furnished apartments, announced closing a $21 million growth funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by new investor Verdane with broad participation from existing shareholders including PropTech1, Creathor, IBB Ventures and Axel Springer Digital Ventures. Verdane is investing in Wunderflats through a combination of primary and secondary capital.

Proceeds will be used to expand to Europe and to further invest in its product.

Wunderflats, founded in 2015 by CEO Jan Hase and Arkadi Jampolski in 2015, is an online platform for renting out furnished apartments.
