Zowie in a $5 million seed round led by Gradient Ventures and 10xFounders.
Zowie, a Warsaw, Poland-based software developer of an AI-based customer support platform, completed a $5 million seed funding round.
The money was raised from investors co-led by Gradient Ventures and 10xFounders, joined by shareholders Inovo Venture Partners and angel investors Jack Altman (Lattice CEO), and Markus Giesswein (Giesswein CEO).
The proceeds will be used for product development, marketing, sales and growth of the commercial team in the United States and across North America
Zowie, founded in 2019 as Chatbotize by Maja Schaefer and Matt Ciolek, developed a software product which analyzes historical and live conversations to generate ready-to-use chat and email automations. The company says it works with roughly 100 customers including Giesswein, Zendesk, Shopify and Gorgias supported by 36 employees.
Zowie previously raised $600k in 2020 from local investors from Poland, including Inovo Venture Partners.
