Omnio wins SEED Discovery Day, takes a 500K convertible loan as a prize.

Omnio, a Copenhagen, Denmark startup providing a SAAS solution for connecting industrial devices, won the SEED Discovery Day pitching competition.

As a result, the company received an investment prize of DKK 500k ($75k) consisting of a convertible loan issued by SEED Capitals partner, Pre-SEED innovation (PSI) with a 3 year maturity at 5% accrued interest.

Omnio, led by CEO Mikkel Sørensen, has developed a device connectivity platform that enables the collaboration between existing machines and software. The platform connects with all devices and IoT platforms and works as a universal translator for industrial device communication.

Omnio was selected as a winner from a shortlist of 10 companies - Pre.do, Sawy, HiveOnline, JustBring, Penstable, FestivALL, TheCode, OBI+, and BuzzMe - by a jury composed of local business people, such as Jesper Buch, Ulla Brockenhuus-Schack, Tine Thygesen, and Henrik Teisbæk.
